As you are all well aware we lost our Minister Rob Stokes in a cabinet re-shuffle after the recent State elections. As I have said on many occasions, we have been fully supported by the Minister as he gets our role and its intricacies. He was always prepared to listen to us, give advice and advocate for some of the changes we needed in our system and nationally. The Minister was a strong supporter of improving school infrastructure, fairer funding for our schools and was a champion for the review of NAPLAN. Our hope is that the new Minister, Sarah Mitchell, is as supportive.
