We congratulate Georgina on her appointment to Secretary. The NSWPPA State Executive met with her on the day of her appointment. I articulated the importance of growing collaborative practices with the Association to ensure a strong school voice is heard ‘at the table’ in the initial stages of planning new policies and procedures. She indicated that was her intention and opened the door on a number of key areas of concern that the membership is strongly expressing.

Currently, the key areas we are focusing on are: Student Behaviour Strategy, Principal Classification and workload.

Our work includes working alongside the NSWTF as Classification is an Award Agreement. As we move forward in this space, I will keep you informed.
