As we fast approach the close of Term 2 I reflect on the extraordinary role of the Principal and their leadership team. The scope and magnitude of their roles and the depth of knowledge they hold both professionally and personally. I hear and I see the far-reaching impact YOU have in your school and I say with great sincerity a heartfelt THANKYOU. This term I have had the opportunity to connect with many Principal colleagues – we have shared the narrative of the day to day, celebrated the most amazing successes and walked shoulder to shoulder with some of the most challenging and confronting. NEVER underestimate your role, your effort, your work, your commitment, your ability to face adversity, your ability celebrate and acknowledge your - team | teachers | students | community and each other, your resilience, your focus - the work you do each and every day is in fact EXTRAORDINARY. YOUR work is the difference in our schools.

Have a well-deserved break during the upcoming holiday – consciously step away from school – this is the opportunity for you to rest, recover, reset and reenergise. We must prioritise ourselves in the recovery cycle – families and friends need and deserve the best version of you.
