Michael Trist and I have entered into preliminary conversations and modelling with key stakeholders with a view of presenting this to the Secretary and Minister. In order to proceed with this modelling the SPC and PPA have agreed that there needs to be a review of the current classification and associated award. It is critical important work and the conversation is being facilitated by NSWTF. It has been said that currently there is ‘no appetite’ for the Department to be looking at Principal Classification. Collectively we believe otherwise and will proceed.

The collaboration between the Associations and Federation is both welcomed and outcome focused. A very exciting move forward. The Human Resources RG will be engaged in this work as the shared position is established. Both Michael and I are very encouraged by this piece of work.
