A webinar with Maggie Dent, Wednesday 1st September, 4.00-5.15pm

School communities are currently focused on supporting the learning and wellbeing of their students and families in this pandemic. The NSWPPA is partnering with Maggie Dent to provide a webinar to support families within our school communities.

In this webinar Maggie explores the layers of stress, anxiety and grief for families that have been created by the pandemic. She then dives into the issue of students learning from home. Maggie will explore the reality of parents working from home with kids or teens underfoot, with some doing digital learning while in social isolation. This is an exciting opportunity for school communities to access to provide support in this difficult time.

Registration

Schools can access the webinar by registering on CVENT with a single payment. Once schools register for the event, they will be provided with a link be distributed to parents enabling them to access Maggie’s webinar. (See attached flyer for links to registration)

Resources

This webinar includes free resources, a comprehensive handout and will be available as a recording for a month after the event for schools to access.
