On Wednesday 5th December the first TeachMeet was hosted by the DoE in Parramatta, with both Mark Scott and Murat Dizdar opening the event. The topic was “Every student known valued and cared for in our schools”. There were 8 teams of NSW principals and/or teachers selected to present initiatives from their schools that met this brief. They came from across the state and represented a cross section of school types. The presentations allowed educators to come together and collaborate and share practices in schools. The TeachMeet was attended by over 200 educators.
