NSWPPA Executive Meeting:

Last week the NSWPPA State Executive met – we looked at our priorities. They are driven by the current work of the Department. A school lens is critical - a lens that encompasses all settings and all contexts. We invest not only to magnify the voice of the principalship but also to respond to emerging issues in schools - these issues currently include policy implementation | IER |staffing and wellbeing. Week 7 will see the Executive lead the Term 1 State Council in collaboration with our Chairpersons, PPC Delegates and Presidents. The Business of the Association is about Supporting, Advocating, Empowering and Leading. Our approach is proactive – we go into meetings with evidence and reference to best practice and ensuring the lens of all schools is presented. Providing reason and alternatives for consideration always features. We seek to understand the WHY, the HOW and the purpose /benefit. The commitment to resourcing and time allocated is always raised. We are deliberately articulating they consider workflow and staffing.
